In the end one’s life is, to a certain extent, determined by one’s career, to that end, mine is simple, to teach
social studies. The methods used to impart this knowledge vary, from a constructivist philosophy to project
based learning. The net result however, remains the same, to teach the past so that people know who they are,
where they are from; and provide some direction for their future so that students might be well prepared for the
world beyond the walls of academia.

Experience
August 2018-Present
American Government Teacher, Alcovy High School
Main Responsibilities: Everything from motivating reluctant learners, to being a mandated reporter, to helping
discuss how to teach a particular topic with colleges so that we are all teaching the same thing. Come in on
time, and, recently, taking a bit more of role of discussing what the timeline of teaching would be. Particularly
considering the loss of our content coordinator this past fall.
March-2016/May-2017
Driver, Morning Shift Leader, LOCO’S PUB AND GRILL
Main Responsibilities: Open store every morning with respect to the Expo Line and Hot Food storage, as well
as storing all items from food trucks on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Keeping up with other diver orders and
address to create the most efficient rout for delivery orders.

Putnam County High School: 9th-12th Grade US History, World History, Government (Duration: January
16-March 30th)
Both US History and World History were Duel Enrollment through a local college, CGTC (Central Georgia
Technical College). The final class taught was an Inclusion Government Class. Host Teacher was Jonathan
Deen.

With the specialization being in 19th Century America and Europe, with Military History as well.

Masters of Arts in Teaching, GEORGIA COLLEGE AND STATE UNIVERSITY
Maintained a 3.0 in a Master’s program, which was not easy by any stretch of the imagination.
One thing of particular note, my personal depth of psychological knowledge has become rather deep with
respect to the Adolescent mind.
