Items to Display as Agenda: (Activities)
• Introductions
• Time for questions
• Creation time
Purpose: Opening Statement of Value—the WHY--for Day’s Lesson:
Introduce the workshop, allow the students to feel comfortable and welcome, give students a
glimpse of what workshops will be like, allow students to ask any questions they have about
workshops
Lesson Procedures:
Introduction: I will begin by introducing myself and allow the guidance counselor to introduce
themselves. Then, the students will be able to tell me a little about themselves. The room will
then be open up for any questions the students may have about the workshop and how it
works.

Development: Students will be given a prompt and will have time to create. They do not
necessarily have to follow the given prompt but can if they need something to start with.
Students can work with any materials they would like. There will be items for inspiration such
as poetry and art books that they can use if they would like inspiration. Students can work on
their creations until the end of the period.

Conclusion: Students can take their work with them or will have a designated place in the
room where they can store their items until next time.

Reflection: Assess turnout and questions asked in the beginning. How can I get more students
to come? Did students seem to like the workshop? What can I do to make each class unique?
