Sampling Procedure
1 Use sample size of 50 students.
2 Divide 50 by the number of sections from the same grade levels that a teacher handle. The quotient is the sample siz
3 Calculate the sampling interval by dividing the population per section by the sample size per section.
4 Arrange the papers based on the scores from highest to lowest.
5 Select a random start between 1 and sampling interval.
6 Repeatedly add sampling interval to select subsequent sample student papers. Do it in all the sections.
7 Arrange the selected samples in descending order based on the scores and use it for item analysis.
Procedure for encoding
8 Save As this file following the format: Div Test Subject_GradeLevel_ IA-MPS (SchoolAcronym)
9 Update the title name (e.g. subject, grade level, quarterly exam, etc.)
10 Change the tab name using the format Grade_Level-Name_of_Teacher (e.g. 7-Ms ABC)
11 Most of the data will be generated automatically by the formula but there are some values that you need to enter.
12 Encode/change the required data (usually highlighted with colored background) per section. Do not overwrite the fo
13 Don't forget to update/encode the required names (adviser, subject teacher, subject head teacher, school head, testi
14 You may delete/not the excess rows and/or columns.
15 Sum and MeanMPS will be generated based on per section inputs. Delete the excess rows/columns.
16 Competencies with below average mastery level, will not be generated by the program. You need to identify based o

Note:
Since Excel is not a multi-user program, you need a single file for consolidation.
