In this example, each of the three locations orders (10) Concurrent Call ports for local and long distance
‘offnet’ calling. The Best Tracker sees that Location A and Location B are using only 5 of their 10 available
ports, and Location C has maxed out it’s available ports or lines. If Location C was using 10 standard
business telephone lines, and an 11th call was placed to that locations #, the caller would likely receive
a ‘busy’ signal. With BEST, however, the call could be completed since Location C can borrow additional
ports available in the Enterprise pool
