Performing Arts Endurance

Welcome, this class is called Performing Endurance Endurance. From the name, this is not a regular class.
There will be 6 teams of 8 in the classroom. The class is to help and better students who want to be able to
express and further their performing arts skills. Randomly, a group will be formed without any
background knowledge the teacher has on the student.

My name is Mr. Galene. I am not a teacher that is listed because I make sure I make the smallest
amount of student interaction except for my students. Only students that have taken this class will know
who I am and they will be signing a binding contract they must never speak about me. I want to create
groups that is not influenced by my knowledge of who the student is. I believe that a group is best
working when they need to learn each other and who they are.

GROUP RULES:
A group can have the most minimum of 7 team members, if less the team is automatically disqualified
and must take their team into the jury for a reevaluation.
During the case of any creative decision that is put on the table, the group must have a majority or the
vote will goes to the teacher.
In the case of a tie when it is presented to the educator, the educator will hear the case and make the
decision for the group.
The leader of the group shall never interact with the leader of any of the groups during the class period
Members of the group shall never interact with the other groups.
Leaders will be in charge of everything.

GROUP ROLES:
Leader - a leader shall make all the decisions with the influence of the group. The leader does not have a
vote on major decisions as though it may lead to a tie.
Researchers (3) - They are the backbone of the group as they are needed to make all the research to what
the entire project is about. They will also write a 5 page summary report on what the project is.
Recorder (1) - This person will record every progress and things that the group has done. They will write
all the ideas and voting tallies. They must submit a 10 page summary report on it.
Assistant - The assistant of the leader will help him or her corate all the plannings and voting days.
Presenter - One person must come and present the entire project to the classroom.
Creative Director - Makes ALL of the creative decisions with the influence of the 3 researchers and the
leader.

Comeback Team Battles

* Losers of the first Team V. Team shall battle it out for a chance to battle the three winners again,
gaining a second chance. (ESSAY)

1st Battle:
All teams will compete against each other. One team will be losing this round. (PLAY and ART)

Comeback Team Battles

* Losers of the first Team V. Team and the 1st Battle shall fight it out for a chance to battle the three
winners again, gaining a second chance. (TRAILER)

2nd Battle
All teams including the winner of the second Comeback Team Battle shall fight to win. One team will
lose this day.

3rd Battle
The Final 3 Teams will compete again for one last time before the two final teams go to the jury’s
decision to whom shall win. (DANCE)

FINAL:
The last 2 teams will battle it out by making a movie about a certain topic that will be presented in the
class that final 3 weeks. The two teams can get two teams that have lost in the previous battles to help
them. (MOVIE)
Jury:
The jury will consist of the all 4 leaders from the former teams that have lost. To keep this a blind vote,
the leaders will be sent to a class for those three weeks that the finalist are working on the movie. The jury
will consist of ​11 ​voters. 4 of them will be the leaders and 5 of them will be teachers and 2 of them will be
a director/performer.

Winner
The winner of this batch will be one of the judges of the next batch. They will also be able to help people
from the comeback battles. The leader of the winning group will choice one person to go with them to
judge the next batch.
Everyone will be going to a trip in France and Spain.
