To architect, if nominated sub-contractor fails to complete in due time

This letter is only suitable for use with JCT 98

Dear Sir

[Either:]

[Insert name of nominated sub-contractor] have failed to complete their [insert nature of work] sub-contract work
within the period specified in the sub-contract.

[Or:]

[Insert name of nominated sub-contractor] have failed to complete their [insert nature of work] sub-contract work
within the revised period granted by us on the [insert date] with your consent.

[Then add:]

The period expired on the [insert date]. We should be pleased if you would so certify in accordance with the provisions
of clause 35.15 of the conditions of contract.
