DFF setup in Item Master Form

Requirement : An attribute with name “Height” to be setup in the

Item Master form.

Setup for DFF:

1. Copy the name of the DFF in the Item Master Form

Navigation : Inventory,Vision Operations(USA) > Items > Master Items

Click on the DFF, and note the name of the DFF in the form (Items)
2. Create the required attribute for the Item

Navigation: Inventory,Vision Operations(USA) > Setup >

Flexfields > Descriptive > Segments
 Query for the Title as ‘Items’, which was noted from the Item master
form previously and Uncheck the ‘Freeze Flexfield Definition’ box
and click on ‘Segments’.

3. Click on ‘New’ and fill the details and save the form

4. Go Back and Check the ‘Freeze Flexfield Definition’ box and click
on ‘Compile’ and Go to View > Requests, and wait for the program to
be completed.
5. Go to the Item Master Form and check for the DFF

Navigation: Inventory,Vision Operations(USA) > Items > Master Items

NOTE :
 If the user wants to restrict the value of the attribute, then a ‘Value
set’ should be attached in Step-3.
 If the user wants this attribute to be made mandatory, then check
the ‘Required’ box in Step-3
