Item Status Attributes and Item Status :

ITEM STATUS ATTRIBUTES :

Attributes that enable key Functionality for each item

Each Status attribute allows you to enable the item for a particular use

Status attributes are related to Item defining attributes

You cannot enable a status attribute if you do not set the corresponding
Item defining attribute to 'Yes'

Customer Order Enabled Customer ordered Item
Internal Order Enabled Internal Ordered Item

Receipt enabled
Process execution enabled Inventory Item

ITEM STATUS CODE :

An Item status is selected by defining the Value check boxes for the
Status Attributes

When you update the Values for an Item status , then the items which use
that particular Item Status will also be updated

Note :

Each status attribute has a Status setting option

The option determines whether a status attribute value is set by the


status code and is not updateable, defaulted and updateable, or not used when you
define
an item
We can set the Status setting option for each Status attribute in the
'Item Attribute Controls' form
PENDING STATUS :

You can assign multiple Pending Statuses to an item , to be implemented


on future dates

These Statuses become effective on their assigned effective dates

Pending Statuses are generally used in the Product Development Cycle

Navigation : Items�>Master Items (M)�>Tools -> Pending Status

Select the Item to which you want to give Pending statuses,


and go to the above navigation

Give the 'Effective date' and the 'Status'

You can submit the 'Update item statuses with the Pending statuses'
concurrent program to update the status of all items with Pending statuses and
current
effective dates.
