Goal #3:
Strengthen communication skills
with students to create and build
relationships in ways is best for
them to learn in a classroom while
also helping with classroom
management.
I chose this goal because I believe
that students need to have a
relationship with their teacher that
makes them feel like they are in a
safe and trusting environment.
Although I know this is important
I believe that I can better reach
students if I understand some
traumas students have faced. I
believe by improving this skill I
will be able to have more
successful students in the future
due to my ability to build a safe
learning environment for them
with the relationships we have
built.
I expect to accomplish this goal by
June of 2021.
Improve communication skills
with parents.
I chose this goal because I believe
that all parents should know what
is happening with their children
while they are at school. I believe
that by keeping parents informed
and involved that they can then
help with their child’s success. I
would like to research new ways
to communicate with parents for
the better of my students and their
child. I expect by improving my
communication with parents it will
help all my students now and in
the future gain better support in
their education as well as keeping
the students accountable while
they are at school and at home.
