Following student teaching, | will be graduating from The University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in elementary education and a concentration in mathematics. Throughout my time at Farmington, | have had a wide variety of experiences that have helped me prepare for this. | have worked in a kindergarten and a fifth-grade classroom, and have helped second and third graders with their reading strategies after school. | am also a behavioral health professional, which means, | work in the home with children and their Parents to help them better prepare for adulthood. q spring is going to be so fun and | am very excited to be teaching in the second grade.
