The social enterprise of SOAPERB Solutions has been supported with ethical leadership.
With this, our venture seeks to act according to our profounded Code of Ethics, which guided us
through our journey. Our values of providing Best Quality Product, Accepting Participation, Ensuring
Righteous Customer Service, and Concern for the Community, are the four main foundation of
SOAPERB Solutions.

Our enterprise was built two years ago, and since then, we had our Code of Ethics as a guide
in every work or task that each member must do. The values and principles that we have are not
selfish for the benefits of the venture only. It encompasses the Employees, Customer Relations,
Shareholders, Suppliers, Wider Community, Implementation, and Assurance of the efectiveness of
the venture’s Code of Ethics.

With this, each associate must read carefully and understand the message that our principles
are trying to convey. Everyone, regardless of personal conflicts and interests, must be ethical in
performing kind of transaction or activity that involves the social enterprise.

SOAPERB Solutions
SOAPERB was built on the year 2017 with 15 members. The enterprise has one chairwoman and six
departments namely; Research and Development, Finance, Human Resource, Production, Marketing, and
Public Relations. These departments contribute to the success of the enterprise by functioning according to
their roles, and by following the Code of Business Ethics.
The enterprise’s product is named LUISA which is an anti-microbial and mosquito repellent soap. With
this product, the venture wants to lessen the dengue cases in the community by preventing mosquito bites
through LUISA.

The Purpose and Values of the Business

SOAPERB Solutions directly produces the LUISA soap with the best quality to satisfy the
consumers that bring them to the market. Aside from that, we make sure that the packaging of the
soap is in good terms especially the storage of the products. This is to make sure the cleanliness and
safety of products. Additionally, the production of the soap is very important even without the direct
control of the company. The product quality will always be the main concern of the company to its
target customers because the SOAPERB Solutions believe that the enterprise will not succeed if they
can’t build customers’ trust.

Accept Participation
In the business setting, it is not just about increasing sales and providing satisfaction to the
customers, but also building corporate social responsibility. In this case, SOAPERB Solutions enables
the participation of the SMK (Samahan ng mga Kababaihan, an organization that the enterprise
targeted) and encourage them to do activities that will gain them to have additional income for their
family, as well as to be their hobby and recreational activity in their past time. Additionally, the social
enterprise also values the sense of community service in order to boost social awareness and helping
the community towards achieving life's goals and success. Furthermore, uplifting the lives of people
through creating them activities and providing them social service can lead to recognition of self-value
and self-worth of every human race of any status.

before or after they buy and use the product. That is why, our social enterprise, SOAPERB
Solutions will deliver customers the right and just customer service in order to satisfy them in

health of the residents when it comes to dengue related problems. This has been one of the
major values of SOAPERB Solutions, wherein as the venture grows, the enterprise wants to
uplift the community’s health protection as well. SOAPERB Solutions believe that through
helping on improving one’s health serves as the purpose for existence of the current venture.

Treating the employees with equal rights is one of the most important components that should
lie across the business. The employees of the SOAPERB Solutions are treated equally to create
stronger and better relationships based on trust and respect. This only means that treating employees
with equal rights in the workplace is not just a moral responsibility of the venture. It is also necessary
to ensure that the business will continuously grow as the employees will be treated fairly. Treating
each employee appropriately, and individually, based on the circumstances and contribution of that
employee should be observable in the venture. When treating the associates equally, the leaders
need to know them all to a certain degree and understand the circumstances in which they are
working. If the top management knows these circumstances, it will results to having a good and
strong relationship with every member. Meanwhile, if the team leaders failed to treat all the
employees with equal rights, it could affect the productivity of the associates and lack of trust from
them may occur. However, this can be changed if the business consistently treats everyone with
certain right and being equal to all. The business avoids showing favoritism towards one member
over the other. In addition, the business will not discriminate the employees based on race, age,
religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender or any other quality. But rather, the employee will be
recognized and be rewarded for his/her accomplishments, regardless of what is his/her position in

motivations, and goals which is why each one of them should be treated for who they really are.

The SOAPERB Solutions maintain the employee’s SAFETY and SECURITY. The social enterprise
will always check the equipment and materials that will be used for the production, maintaining that the
equipment is safe to use and the materials are not harmful to the employees. The SOAPERB Solutions also
timely checks the surroundings where the employees work, securing that the place will not collapse and will
be safe to use when working. Additionally, it is important to check the electric wires, assuring that there will
be no short circuits while operating the business to ensure the safety of all members. Moroever, the enterprise
offers to have a session once every other month to know if the employees have a health problem. There will
also be a session every other month to evaluate every employee if they have a mental health problem. This
is to help those who have mental health issues as early as possible when it is already visible. Additionally,
there will also be a monthly restocking of protective gears to ensure the safety of every employees working
in the company. Moreover, each employee is given a day-off for them to reenergize and rest. As a result, this
will help in keeping the employees its productivity as well as its safety and security.

The SOAPERB Solutions encourages its employees to cooperate with each other. Each team,
managers, department, and the whole company will help each other to attain higher productivity and fulfillment
of both the individual and organizational goals. Unity is one of the important factors that should be present in
the workplace, to make the employees happy and satisfied in the work. The business will encourage the
employees to have unity in the workplace and in that way, the employee will have a great teamwork and

product LUISA soap. With this, the enterprise strives to influence the potential customers to buy LUISA
by disclosing its benefits and advantages. LUISA is not just a product for profit, but rather it is a product
with a purpose. It aims to lessen the growing number of dengue cases by preventing mosquito bites to
skins of individuals. In this case, SOAPERB will continue to seek connections to the people in order to
advertise LUISA and influence them to buy it for their health protection.

The Finance Department assures that the money given by the shareholders as well as from external sources
will be held with honesty. The members of the department ought to provide truthful information about the budget that
was used; the exact amount and the nature of transactions.The department also assures that the money will not be
used for personal reasons and will not be allowed for other purposes other than the business. It is duly noted that
money is one of the core foundation of the social enterprise wherein it allows the enterprise to continue its operation
even in the future; thus, the money that the members invested will be protected at all cost. Moreover, since it is one
of the needs of the company to continue in achieving its goals to grow as a company in the future, all information will
be noted to prevent inconsistency as well as conflict in the data that will be presented to other members of the
enterprise. This will allow the shareholders of the enterprise to gain trust with each other while following the movement
of the budget inside the company.

We provide TIMELY disclosure of financial information both to the


board of directors and associates
The members of the Finance Department ensures that all financial information within their hands will be
disclosed accurately as soon as possible or as soon as available. All information will be disclosed to all members of
the social enterprise since it is their right to know the financial status of the venture. Moreover, it is the responsibility
of the finance department to provide this information as they are the persons in charge to record the transactions done
as well as the inflow and outflow of money in the social enterprise. They will provide each member an update to the
movement in the money for them to feel secured that the money they had invested will be used for relevant purposes.
No wrong information must be given and no transaction must be kept in secret with the other members. This will only
result to a suspicion to the department. Even though some records will have a problem, it is the fFnance Department’s
responsibility to provide details and information in any legal way possible. The information should be true and timely
wherein no information should be used to shade these problems. It is the company’s right to be given these information
and not only one department should know. The Finance department emphasizes that the information that was given
and will be given are based from the true transactions that the company had in the present time without inconsistency
and delay, and will be ensured to be disclosed to all members of the social enterprise.

allocation.
In SOAPERB Solutions, the responsible management vows to give the absolute true and fair funds for its
shareholders and budget for each department. Money from the budget allocation will serve as a foundation in reaching
the company’s goal and future business decisions. Members who will need budget in their activities for the company
will be given a reasonable allocation of money. As the company provides its financial report, it will contain data in a
reasonable manner for all of its member. Accounts will be followed in a standard way drawn up by the accounting
personnels that will serve justice for the members. Funds may vary from members with different concerns, however it
seeks to give assistance, through partnership of the department and its members, in providing the fund needed to
have the highest quality of service or work. The company strongly does not engage in any activities that will
misrepresent the venture as a corrupt and harmful negotiator in terms of monetary concerns to associates, customers

also seminars and meetings with people who are involved with Samahan ng Mga Kababaihan, an
organzaition that the SOAPERB specifically targeted. The relationship between the enterprise and the
community can build a more effective project with cooperation and participation. This will also benefit
them for the future since the enterprise has an objective that allows the people to apply the learnings,
realizations and suggestions of the enterprise.

SOAPERB Solutions is a social enterprise wherein social being is given attention. The social
enterprise seeks to maximize profits while maximizing benefits to the society and to the environment.
Thus, SOAPERB Solutions, as a social enterprise, is establishing an affiliation with the community. This
pertains to one of the 72 barangays in Lipa City, Batangas which is the Barangay Poblacion 2, Lipa City.
The company involves its chosen community in the projects and programs they are implementing. The
affiliation allowed the social enterprise to conduct several research studies in the past. This is to evaluate
and to know the perceptions of the residents in the said community. In addition, the partnership also
allowed the SOAPERB Solutions to conduct seminars and meetings with the barangay official, especially
their barangay captain. Given these scenarios, SOAPERB Solutions is indeed not just a self-centered
venture, but rather, it creates significant relationships and connections whereas two parties can flourish.

Our Production is ENVIRONMENTAL-FRIENDLY.


The product of the enterprise was made with various steps which is environmental-friendly by
which it avoids to harm the environment. In producing the product, the ingredients used were natural or
chemical-free, which obviously says that the product can be used safely. The packaging of the product
is also not made of any plastic as a cover. With this, an environmental-friendly production reduces the
negative impact to the environment and it helps to preserve natural resources. Having such way of
manufacturing will not only be beneficial to the customers and enterprise, but also to the environment.
We intend to DEVELOP training programs for all
It is important to develop a training program to meet the needs of both staff members and the
organization, and keep the organization growing and changing for the better. Training programs will be
implemented in the business to train the new staff who have never done the particular work before. This
is also for the new staffs who may have experienced the work of a position, but not in the particular
method or style which the organization uses. The business will give everyone in the organization the
opportunity for some ongoing training at least once a month. Although, training program looks like it might
involve a fair amount of work and cost some money, it has a number of reasons that will impact the
business. The training program will help to improve communication, boost skills, and stay compliant of
every employee. The business will analyze the current training tactics and structure to clearly see
