highlight to jump to the first
subdirectory that begins with that let-

essary) to jump to “DRAG2” or
“DRAG28” subdirectory, depending on
the latest version of the Motion-PC
DragStrip simulation that is installed
on your system.
5) When the correct subdirectory has
been highlighted in the left pane,
double-click on the selection (or press
Enter) to display subdirectory contents
in the right Filename pane. Only
DragStrip test files ending in “.DRG”
will be listed.
6) Highlight the desired vehicle test file,
then click on OK (or press Tab to
move the highlight to the OK button,
then press Enter). The selected ve-
hicle test file will be loaded into Full
Throttle for “on-track” testing.

Vehicles in Full Throttle are staged, launched, and shifted with the ALT and
SHIFT keys. The left-hand keys control the Left Lane and the right-hand keys
control the Right Lane. Press and hold the ALT key to increase engine rpms
and move your vehicle forward to stage. Do not release the ALT key when
your vehicle is staged; you will not “roll through the lights.” Then press the
SHIFT key to increase engine rpm to Launch speed. After a random delay,
the amber lights will illuminate. When the appropriate amber bulb lights, re-
lease the SHIFT key to launch your vehicle. For vehicles with multiple-speed
transmissions under User Control, press-and-release the SHIFT key to shift
into the next gear. The shift-light will turn red, indicating when the shift rpm
has been reached for each gear. If you wish to decelerate during a race (e.g.,
to avoid breaking out) release the ALT key (it acts as the throttle).
