Have Mercy on me, O God, according
to Thy Great Mercy, and according
to the abundance of Thy
Compassion, blot out my
transgressions.
Thy Head – that All Venerable
Repository of Divine Concepts,
which clearly foresaw the Mystery of
the Ineffable Essence, has arisen
today out of the Storehouses of the
Earth, as though out of a mother’s
womb, O John, who art worthy of all
Praise! It poured forth the Fragrant
Myrrh of Sanctification and

Waters of Immortality!” Hence, with
