I. Objectives
A. Content Standards
The learners demonstrate an understanding of:
the relation of geographical location of the Philippines to its
environment.
B. Performance Standards
The learners shall be able to;
analyze the advantage of the location of the Philippines in relation to
the climate, weather, and seasons.
C. Learning Competencies/ Objectives
Student learners will be able to;
1. Recognize that soil, water, rocks, coal, and other fossil fuels are
earth materials;
2. Describe ways of using Earth’s resources wisely; and
3. Recognize that Earth materials provide many of our resources.
D. Specific Objectives
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
a. define the natural resources, conservation and protection;
b. identify the effects of human activities on natural resources; and
c. appreciate the importance of natural resources.
