MS Physics Subject Portion 2018

My name is Hamza Abbasi . I am from Ned university of engineering and technology Karachi. I have
documented the question that I and my friends have remembered for the next batch. Please note that the wording
that I have used might be a little different from the one asked in the problem but it will give you a clear idea about
the question asked in 2018. Please ignore the grammatical mistakes!

guess)

Jupiter is x (don’t remember the exact number) . Calculate the angular velocity of Jupiter in rad/sec.

30. There was one question related to relation between the angular velocity and centripetal force. What will
happen to it’s angular velocity if it’s centripetal force is twice that of before.

35. There was a simple question related to the formula W = qv. Charge and workdone were given, and the

37. Two polarizer glass are placed at 45 degrees to each other. When a light beam is passed through them ,
what percent of the light beam will emerge from the other side (Options : 100 , 50 ,75 ,25)

1.2mm. If the distance between the slit and screen is 1m , then wavelength of the light used will be?
39. There was question related to special relativity which I found quite confusing , I don’t remember the exact
words but it was something like this : Spaceship A and Spaceship B are moving at 0.8c with respect to
each other. If there is an observer standing at the center of mass of one ship , what will he measure the
speed of the other ship (Options: 0.4c,0.5c,0.6.0.7c)
40. If energy density is U then the pressure exerted by the light beam when it is reflected from the surface of a
conductor is (Options : U , U/2 , 2U )
41. Two arrows are fired at 45 degree and 60 degree.Then arrow fired at 45 will have ? 4 conditions were
given. The correct one according to me was (Ans:It will have longer range and shorter time of flight than
the arrow fired at 60 degree)
42. There was one question form the adiabatic theorem of the quantum mechanics. I don’t remember the exact
word used in problem , but it was similar to this :If the width of potential well is decreased slowly then
what will happen.
