Sub : Structural Stability Test for Plant Area of (Unit no. 1 to 7 , 7 A,8A & Dye house)

Ref : Your Quotation no. 26109118 dated 27.11.2018.

This refers to your offer No.26109118 dahed27.11.2018 and subsequent discussions had with your Mr.
Uttam Das, we are pleased to confirm our work order for the Structure Stability Test for Plants area at
our site Chenab Textile Mills, Kathua as per following specifications, terms and conditions:-.

1) Your offer amount based on your quoted rates and considering 15% discount offered by you,
works out to Rs.8,18,465/- (Rupees Eight lacs eighteen thousand four hundred & sixty five
only). However, you shall be paid on the basis of actual measurement of the works carried out by
you as per the schedule of rates attached herewith.

2) Above price is excluding lntegrated Goods & Service Tax (IGST), which shall be paid extra
@.18%. Our GSTIN is - 01AAJCS1850N1ZA.

3) Any Statutory deduction/lncome Tax as applicable under the provisions of lncome Tax Act shall
be deducted at source at the time of release of payment due under this order.

4) The prices given in the attached schedule are F.O.R. Kathua and shall remain firm till completion
of the job and no escalation shall be payable to you on any account due to increase in price of
material and labour or othenryise.

5) Payment terms :

a) You shall be paid 10% of the Contract Value towards mobilization advance against undated
cheque of equivalent amount towards security of advance.

b)" 40% payment shall be made after completion of site job.

c) Balance amount shall be paid within 15 days after submission of final report by you.

6) The date of commencement shall be reckoned as 1Sth December 2018 and entire work including
tests and submission of final report, will be completed within a period of 45 (Forty Five) days from
the date of commencement i.e. by 31"t January 2019. You will mobilize your team immediately.

7) Timely completion of the job is the essence of this Contract and you will strictly adhere to the
agreed schedule for completion.

8) We shall provide you water and electricity free of cost for operation of testing equipment.

9) You will make your own boarding arrangement for your workers at your cost. We shall provide
one room to your workers in our labour colony. We shall provide boarding & Iodging to your
engineer only in our Guest House.

10) Allconstruction materials/machineryitools etc. are to be procured/arranged by you. You shall also
bear all the expenses for its transportation as well as loading/unloading and inter-carting of the
material.

11) You will make proper security arrangement for your own site and also comply with the rules and
regulations for security as required by CTM.

12) Your team will use all safety devices like safety belt, helmets etc. and you will also take
necessary insurance policy at your cost to cover the accidental risk of your erection team during
execution of the job and CTM will not be responsible for any injury or any type of mis-happening
in such events and as such shall have no liability of whatsoever nature in this regard.

13) This Contract is subject to Kathua (J&K)jurisdiction only.

This Contract is being issued in duplicate and you are requested to please return duplicate copy, duly
signed and stamped by you, as a token of your acceptance and mobilize your manpower and material at
site and take up the work in hand.

in terms of surface hardness as per lS 13311 (Part-2)-1992,
ASTM C 805-02, BS 6089:1981 and BS 1881 Part 202,
BSEN:13791, also establishing correlation chart between
rebound hammer and other confirmatory test for estimated
in-situ strength of concrete if required.
Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test: for ascertaining the quality of Nos. 140 500 70,000
concrete, soundness and density of concrete, uniformity of
concrete in terms of density as per lS 13311 (Part-1)-1992,
ASTM: C597-83, BS 6089: 1981 and BS 1881: Part 203 and
BS EN:13791.
6. Preparing and submitting comprehensive report consisting Nos. 07 15,000 1,05,000

9. Carbonation Test : Measurement of carbonation depth by Nos. 84 25,200


phenolphthalein spray test at selected locations on RCC
members of the structures covered under the study to see
the depth of carbonation as per BS EN 14630:2006, BS EN
13295:2004. Ratio of Carbonation depth to cover depth is
also measured to check the intensity of carbonation attack
on steel bar.
10. Repairing Methodology and retrofitting scheme for structural Nos. 07 15,000 1,05,000
serviceability and safety, periodic maintenance scheme,
futuristic protection of structure. The recommendation for
structural repair and rehabilitation to the structures shall
have detailed technical specifications, materials to be used
and design details, vulnerability indices and order of urgency
to repair.
11. Half Cell Potential Test : Measuring the Half Cell Potential Nos. 35 500 17,500
readings with wheel electrode at the nodes of pre-marked
grid points on concrete surface in a suitable grid for
determining the probability of corrosion activity of embedded
steel reinforcement in concrete with specified half cell
electrode in accordance with ASTM C876-1980 after
moistening the concrete surface with water. The rate shall
include surface preparation, moistening concrete surface for
assessing the percentage dsk of corrosion in reinforcement,
Measuring the half-cell / surface potentials at selected
locations on RCC members of the structures covered under
the study to understand the extent of reinforcement
corrosion and contour Mapping of corrosion, Plotting the half
cell potential readings in graphical presentation with
potential contours plotted in terms of probable risk of
corrosion of steel bar as per ASTM CB76 [6]-1991
12. pH Value (to check alkanity of concrete) as per relevant B.S. Nos. 35 300 10,500
