The author, Audrey Smedley Professor of Anthropology, Virginia Commonwealth University, wrote
about how historically racism affected everyone. Her article aims to inform everyone about what
horrible decisions we as humans have made happen. History always repeats itself. Everything
that has happened in the past is affecting how we live in this world and country. Even today there
are still people that repeat the same mistakes made. There are laws and consequences now.
People just need to accept one another. We need to be fair to each other and not bring others that
don’t look like us down. I intend to use this citation for the definition, white supremacy, and
historical events.

The author, Dorothy A. Brown alumni faculty fellow and professor of Law Washington and Lee
University school of Law, explains the struggles colored people face in this world. In this article,
Dorothy says that black people have been treated unjustly just because of their skin color. We
need to change our mindsets and see everyone as equals. We can’t judge someone based solely
on how they look. The Critical Race Theory plays an important role in our everyday lives. The
Government system is corrupt it always has been. We need to be the bigger person and help
those in need. I intend to use this citation for History and Present events.

The Author, Bill Lueders, wrote about how racism fits in today's world. In this article Bill mentions
many political or religious leaders that supported racism. This article made me become aware of
how much racism is a part of our everyday lives. We've gotten used to it that it doesn't affect us
anymore. Some races think they are above others. Many people discriminate other humans for
their skin color, accents, religious beliefs, the way they dress. Our society this day is messed up.
I intend to use this article as evidence that supports my claim about white supremacy.

The author, Tom Head who has served on the board of the Mississippi ACLU and is an award-winning
columnist, wrote about various Supreme Court Ruling Cases involving racist discriminations.
His article shows cases that go all the way back to 1856. These cases show how much the people
that are discriminated against have fought to be equal. It also shows the many mistakes our govt
has made over the years. It’s interesting seeing all these Supreme Court cases and seeing how
flawed our govt is. We as a whole community need to learn something from this and open our
mind to positivity and equality. I intend to use this article as evidence to support my claim about

everyone's daily lives. In the article it said that, ¨Overall, 64 percent said racism remains a major
problem in our society. Thirty percent agreed that racism exists today, but it isn't a major
problem.¨ A majority of Americans say racism still remains a major problem in American
society and politics. Racist discrimination is more subtle. But it is still a big problem. This article
shows how people of different color are treated differently. Their study shows that 40% of black
people and 26% of hispanics are treated unfairly in stores or restaurants based on their races. I
