Students are expected to effectively understand, demonstrate, and actively participate in the volleyball unit. Critical features such as; the underhand serve, ball
setting, and ball spike will be emphasized through a series of practice drills, assessments, and various activities.

Volleyball is a sport in which students must work together offensively and defensively to achieve a victory over the opposing team. The sport teaches players
how to communicate accordingly and effectively in order to be successful in the sport. In addition, volleyball has the ability to fulfill a student’s physical activity
daily recommendation through its high intensity demands while keeping students engaged and having fun. Volleyball is well rounded sport, as it keeps students;
actively moving, communicating, and thinking ahead. Volleyball is a worldwide sport and playable on multiple terrains (in door, out door, beach, etc.)
