DEAN'S HONOUR LIST WITH DISTINCTION

The Dean's Honour List with Distinction for undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts and Science
is determined by comparing a student's academic performance to that of their peers within the
following degree program groups:

Arts: all students registered in the B.A., B.A. (Honours), B.F.A., B.F.A. (Honours), B.Mus., B.P.H.E.,
and B.P.H.E. (Honours) degree programs.

Science: all students registered in the B.Sc., B.Sc. (Honours), B.Cmp., and B.Cmp. (Honours) degree
programs.

The Dean's Honour List with Distinction recognizes those students who have achieved an academic
year GPA that places them in the top 3% of all students within their degree program group, based on
the combined GPA for all courses taken in the Fall, Winter and Summer Terms. This honour is an
official University recognition of your achievement and is recorded on your academic transcript.

To celebrate your achievement, I would like to invite you to a reception at the Agnes Etherington Art
Centre from 6:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. This will give you a chance to
meet your fellow scholars, the Heads of Department and the Associate Deans of the Faculty. I hope
