INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE


1. Candidate should be present at the test center before 8:30 AM for forenoon session and before 1:00 PM for Afternoon session.
2. The Test Centre gate will be closed 9:30 AM(for the Forenoon session)and 2:00 PM (for Afternoon session) . NO CANDIDATE
WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE TEST CENTRE AFTER CLOSING THE GATE.
3. Please check the details printed on the Hall ticket carefully for your Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category and Subject. In case
of any discrepancy communicate to the TS ED.CET 2018 helpline centre immediately or necessary action on or before 28-05-2018
4. Hall Ticket should be produced at the entrance of the center and in the examination hall during the test, failing which the candidate
will not be allowed to appear for the entrance test. HALL TICKET MUST BE PRESERVED AND PRODUCED AT THE TIME OF
ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE.
5. The Candidate shall carry into the examination hall (i) A Pen (ii) A Passport size photograph (iii) ID proof(Aadhar Card, Voter ID,PAN
Card, Passport).
6. Candidates are not allowed to bring loose sheets / blank papers into the examination hall for the purpose of rough work. Rough
papers will be provided in the Examination Hall. Candidate is responsible and shall handover the Rough Sheets to the invigilator
before leaving the examination centre after the end of the examination.
7. Mathematical Tables / Calculators / Calculator Watches / Rough papers / Pagers / Cell Phones and other electronic gadgets are not
permitted into the Examination Hall.
8. Follow the instructions announced by the invigilator carefully. No clarifications or doubts related to the questions of examination will
be entertained during the examination. If you face any hardware or software problems with the computer system provided, please
inform the same to the invigilators for rectifying the problem immediately. In case the problem is not rectified within the reasonable
time, you will be provided with another computer system. The time lost for changing the system will be compensated.
9. Candidates shall be disqualified, if they are found resorting to unfair means. DECISION OF THE CHIEF SUPERINTENDENT OF THE TEST
CENTER SHALL BE FINAL ON THESE MATTERS.
10. The check-in procedure inside the Examination Hall includes capturing of biometric data ( photo and right hand thumb
impression).This is a security feature which will allow TS Ed.CET-2018 authorities to verify your identity and also to check
impersonation. Therefore, candidates are advised to avoid applying any external matters like Mehandi , Ink etc. on their hands and
keep their hands neat and clean.
11. Issue of Hall Ticket and appearance for the test does not automatically entitle a candidate for admission into the B.Ed. course.
12. Candidates should note that in case of any discrepancy in the questions in bilingual papers, which is because of ambiguity in translation,
the English version of the question shall be treated as final.
13. Candidate is permitted to write the Examination only once, though he/she has submitted multiple applications. The performance in the
first appearance is only considered.
14. If a candidate adopts any kind of unfair means during the time of the test, the applicant is liable for invalidation of his / her
performance in the examination. Any act of impersonation by the candidate and / or by somebody else during the time of test will
attract criminal action and the applicant will forfeit the claim of appearing for the test.
15. Candidates are advised to avoid bringing valuable devices or personal belongings to the examination hall as there may not be a
guaranteed security facility for safe-keeping outside the Examination Hall
