Part A:

From oscilloscope the difference is:

=3.3 ms;
Phase Shift=3.3/20 *360=59.4
The phase angle between VIN and I=90-59.4=30.6
Power factor=cos(30.6)=0.861
The time difference is = 21.7-20.0=1.7ms
So the phase angle θ = (1.7/20)* 360=30.6
The power factor PF= cos(30.6)=0.86;
Part B

Time difference between Vl and VIn =1.05 ms

So the phase shift is=(1.05/20)*360=18.9;
So θ =90-18.9=71.1;
And pf=Cos(71.1)=0.324;
The time difference between I and Vin is =20-19=1 ms;
So the phase angle=(1/20)*360=72;
Pf= cos(72)=0.309;
Phasor Diagram:
Circuits B:

With analogue Analysis:

Time difference between Vin and I : 3.2 ms;

The phase angle = 57.6;

The power factor=0.536;

With Digital Oscilloscope:

The time difference between Vin and VR: 1.80ms;

The phase shift: (1.8/20)*360=32.4;

The phase angle: 90-32.4=57.6

PF= cos(57.6)=0.536
Circuit A:

The difference between the Vin and Vi =20-15.8=4.2ms

The phase shift = 75.6

The phase angle =14.4;

The power factor= cos(14.4)=0.968;

With analogue analysis:

Phase angle= 0.75/20*360=13.5;

Pf=Cos(13.5)=0.973;
Assignment:

Circuit b:

So the difference between Vin and VR is 2.40ms;

The phase shift=43.4

The phase angle =46.8;

Circuit c

The difference between the Vin and I : 0.02ms

So the phase angle= 0.02/20*360=0.36
