World War II ended in many suffering and losses of
people all over the world. Even though it ending marked for a
longer peaceful to this world but the way it ended is not a
good sign for some countries, especially with Japan. Joining
the Axis might not a good idea with Japan because they were
lost in the battle and the costs for that lost were not small. In

saw no chances for winning of the Axis. Despite the
negotiation and warning of the Allied that if Japan did not
surrender, their damages in the war might be increased, Japan
forces still defended in the Pacific field. At the same time,
when General Dwight Eisenhower in charge of the U.S. Army,
he made an important decision to force Japan to surrender and
ended the war quickly to reduce the damages for the U.S. He
commanded to drop an atomic bomb called the “ Little Boy” in
a manufacturing city - Hiroshima, Japan. At 8:15 a.m, it The Little Boy Atomic Bomb

12-15,000 tons of TNT, destroying five square miles of the city.
The bombs caused huge numbers of deaths and destroyed
everything. The deaths were estimated that 270,000 deaths in
that bombing event. However, the U.S. has not received any
surrender announcement from Japan. So the next bomb was
dropped called the “ Fat Man” at 11:20 in the morning. This
time, because of the weather, the city that contains a lot of
military forces of Japan, Koura was survived but the target
was changed to the second choice, Nagasaki. The “Fat Man”
has more power than the first bomb, it produced a 22 kilotons
blast. Finally, aware of the future damage that they might
have, Japan’s Emperor announced his surrender to the Allied

new beginning. Like the U.S., the bombing events brought to
the U.S. the dominant position to decide the postwar with the
