How to use HexTrans Program ① For security checking the communication with CYBOW Reader300.

** Usage ** ② Make reset button to CYBOW Reader300.

③ Select file button to down load the program to CYBOW Reader300.
1) Double click HexTrans icon. ④ Set environment button to HexTrans.
You will see a popup screen as follows. ⑤ Trans file to CYBOW Reader300 execution button.

System(S) : You can configuration the program. 2) Firstly click Security button for communication with CYBOW Reader300.
Port: Configured serial port1 or port2 at PC. If the communication between PC and CYBOW Reader300 succeed, you will
Baudrate: Configured communication speed . see the message as “Succeed Security Process” at Status Line.

File: It means current selected file and full path in your PC If no match of serial port between PC and CYBOW Reader300 or
Status: status of current selected serial port. communication speed, it appears as follows the error message at Status Line.
 (In case of failure communication) (In case of wrong serial port configuration)

(It should be same as CYBOW Reader300)

In case of this situation, you can check several causes as follows. Cause 2) NO match of communication speed.
You make sure set same speed between CYBOW Reader300 and PC.
Cause 1) NO match of serial port between PC and CYBOW Reader300.
Firstly confirm serial port number at opened HexTrans program and Cause 3) Wrong connection of serial cable.
which connected serial port number at your PC (Connection)
Usually happen, connected serial port 1 at PC and open serial port 2 at
HexTrans program.(in case of contrary too)
* Refer to PC user manual for configuration serial port in PC.
 How to reset the CYBOW Reader300 and down load new Step9. Turn the power off CYBOW Reader300.
software Step10. While you are pressing (Right key), turn the power on.
Step1. Turn the power off CYBOW Reader300. You can input the serial number and then press ENT( )key.
Step2. While you are pressing ESC( )+ key, turn the power on.

Step3. Connect CYBOW Reader300and your computer through RS232C cable.
Step4. Execute the HEX TRANS by double clicking the icon.
Then the display will be shown as below. Step11. Check the “Set Origin”
Step5. Click Config (C) Step1. Press ESC key twice-> Display ” System Setup”
You can select the serial port and select 115200 as baudrate. Step2. Press number key 080 -> Display "Set Orgin"
Step6. Click Select File (F)
You can find the file named “.BNK” in the HEXTRANS directory (folder) and
select the file by
double click. Then, the message “File open succeed” will shown in the status.
Step3. You check the ‘Set Export only ’
Step4. Press ESC key.

Step12. Check the “Set REF PAD”

Step1. Press ESC key twice-> Display ” System Setup”
Step2. Press number key 990 -> Display "Set REF PAD"

Step7. Click Securite (S)

Then, the message "Succeed security process" will show in the status.
Step8. Click Trans (T)
Then, a new program is downloaded to CYBOW Reader300 and system will re- Step3. You check the ‘REF PAD = NOT USE ’
start automatically after the download. Step4. Press ESC key.
Step12. You must Calibration in the Standby mode. (refer to Manual) ◄ 2)
For calibration, proceed as follows:

Step12.1. In the ‘Standby’ mode, Press < ESC > key twice to display ESC

In System Setup, press number 2 key and the display [Fig.6.2] will be shown as

Step12.2. Move to Calibration by using ▲▼ (up, down) keys and select YES by
using ◄► (left, right) keys. Step13. Come back to the home screen and measure the test result.
Step12.3. Press ESC key twice
Step12.4. Put the ‘Calibration Strip(CAL)’ into the 1st position of Strip Loading
Plate and then press < ENT >.
The calibration checking procedure can be stopped by pressing <ESC>.
Step125. After calibration finished, the result of calibration print out.

If the calibrations values are between 333+/-10(323 ~ 343), it is OK.
