Abstract:
The artificial technology and robotics both are equally important in building upcoming
intelligent agents and gives important developments in today’s environment.
Recent experiments, research or study gives us clear image of our futuristic era of intelligent
agents. Robotics is the discipline of artificial intelligence that deals with the study of creating
intelligent and efficient robots . Only the missing element is the basic understanding of how
robots react with human nature. Robotics is a branch of technology that deal’s with the
designing, construction , operation and computer system for information processing.
Keywords: Intelligent agents, sensors

1. Introduction Artificial intelligence refers to the ability of making computer enable

robots to process information and produce valuable outcome similar as a thought process
of a human being. Currently the AI are used in advertising, driving, aviation, image
recognition etc. An example of this is vehicles equipped with an automatic steering
system, also known as autonomous cars. Each vehicle is equipped with a series of sensors
and cameras which enable recognition of its three-dimensional environment and provides
the ability to make intelligent decisions by agents.

2. Difference in Robot System and Other AI Program

The robotics and AI has two different meanings :- the AI is used to make intelligent agents programs so
that they can work or behave like a human being. The term robots is used in real world to make the
efficient use of our intelligent agents.

3. PLANNING AND ACTING

Humans spend the majority of their time performing routine tasks . Eventually we have to plan
the most efficient way to perform a set of errands, or a plan a route map, but this part of activity
is very much out of the ordinary. Some science researchers study planning for exactly this
reason it is a uniquely human activity that requires artificial intelligence.
First approach is to design the agent to act as much as possible on the basis of sensory inputs,
avoiding the complex difficulties of large databases or facts. In the simplest of these systems,
the agent executes a continuous reaction mapping of its sensors ,this method affords maximum
reactivity. The other methods are conditional planning, Execution monitoring etc.

4. APPLICATIONS OF AI AND ROBOTICS

Artificial Intelligence has been used in a various fields including medical diagnosis, stock
trading, robot control, law, scientific discovery and toys. Many thousands of AI applications are
deeply embedded in the infrastructure of every industry.

1. Computer science: Many researchers have created many tools to solve the most difficult
problems in computer science. Many of their inventions have been adopted by computer
science and are no longer considered a part of AI.
i.e time sharing, interactive interpreters, graphical- User interfaces and the computer
mouse and many more.

2. Finance: Financial Institutions have used artificial network systems too. Many bank use
artificial intelligence systems to organize operations, invest in stocks and manage
properties.

3. Hospitals and medicine: Artificial network are used in clinical decision support system
for medical diagnosis, such as in CPT in EMR software, heart sound analysis, companion
robots for the care of elderly..
4. Toys and Games. AI also used in to help to introduced people, especially children, to a
life of playing with various types of Artificial Intelligence. AI has also be applied to
video games, for example video game which are designed to play in as opponents where
humans aren't available or desired.

5. Conclusion

Aspects of intelligent agents behavior, such as solving problems, making inferences,

learning, and understanding language, have already been coded as computer programs.
The necessity of providing solutions that work efficiently in the real world has
implemented. AI research are making significant new paths of investigation in perception
and planning of our intelligent agents. For the pursuit to succeed, further advancement
will be needed from AI in the areas of belief revision and learning. Therefore, having
robots helps business owners to be competitive, because robots can do jobs better and
faster than humans.
