eLearning Coordinator, Librarian Big Bend Community College

 Collaborates with faculty on information literacy and educational November 2013 – Present
technology with online resources, presentations, and meetings.
 Teaches and assesses information literacy and online technology lessons
for patrons via one-on-one, group, and online instruction.
 Assists patrons as a reference librarian through collection development,
readers’ advisory, online reference, and research interviews.
 Administrates and promotes online learning technologies and standards
including the Canvas LMS, Panopto, Evaluation Kit, and Quality Matters.
 Designed and taught two semesters of an online English 102 course,
demonstrating Canvas’s capabilities.
 Leads promotion of Open Education Resources (OER).
 Collaborates with librarians and eLearning faculty across Washington as
part of the Washington eLearning Council (ELC) and the Washington
