ELABORATION:
Students will be asked to create a technology product (power point, brochure, video or other) to allow
students to produce a public service announcement about distracted or drunk driving. Students will create
a video or power point that can serve as a public service announcement about distractions that can hinder
your abilities to drive and perform other activities. Groups will present their public service announcements
to the class.
EVALUATION:
Remember, assessment is part of each stage of the 5E lesson planning process. You will need to assess
each student on their participation and understanding and evaluate how close they have come to meeting
the objectives of the lesson. Create a checklist or rubric to grade the student created technology product,
paying close attention to the objectives of the lesson.
Students will be assessed by a rubric consisting of 20 possible points on their power point presentations.
