ANZA Partners Appoints New Leader, Expands Services

Bevis Cheng joins the leading go-to-market organization for Australian tech companies exploring
U.S. business opportunities.

San Francisco, CA, April 23, 2019 --(PR.com)-- ANZA Partners - previously known as ANZA
Technology Network - is pleased to announce the appointment of Bevis Cheng as Partner and the
network's new leader, based in Silicon Valley.

Cheng brings with him experience as a startup founder, angel investor, real estate developer and former
corporate banker. More recently, he was the cofounder and CEO of The Hacker Exchange, equipping
young Australian entrepreneurs with immersive startup experience in San Francisco, Tel Aviv and
Singapore.

Viki Forrest, ANZA's long-time CEO, will remain with the organization as a Partner and Advisory
member. She will be taking on a full-time role as Queensland's new Trade and Investment Commissioner
for North America, based in San Francisco.

“I am pleased to turn over the leadership of ANZA to Bevis,” Forrest said. “He is a dynamic leader with
incredible insights for how to take ANZA to its next level.

“ANZA remains the number one stop in the U.S. for any Australian entrepreneur exploring global
business opportunities.”

Cheng will oversee the expansion of some of ANZA's most popular programs designed to ensure
Australian startup success in accelerating U.S. market traction and providing access to a robust and
extensive network of customers, investors and industry partners.

“I'm excited to follow in the footsteps of Viki and continue to bring incredible value to Australian
companies navigating the vast U.S. market,” said Cheng.

“ANZA's success has always been two-fold: an incredibly deep network of professionals willing to lend
support and expertise to startups and an ability to adapt our programs to critical changes taking place in
the U.S. market.”

ANZA was founded in 2002 as a technology showcase for Australian and New Zealand companies ready
to conquer the U.S. market at the height of the dot.com era. The organization began offering
market-readiness programs to smaller cohorts during the economic downturn, and shifted again, as the
U.S. economy rebounded in the 2010s with a popular Fast Track program tailored to individual CEOs.

Companies participating in ANZA programs have collectively raised more than $43 million (USD) in
capital. In a world where only 0.6% of startups successfully raise venture capital, ANZA has helped 20%
of clients raise seed and A-round financing.

More than 200 companies have taken part in ANZA programs over the past decade. In addition to raising
capital, they have also landed strategic partners and closed early customer deals.

“I look forward to continuing this momentum,” said Cheng. “And introducing additional avenues for
Australian entrepreneurs to maximize their potential in Silicon Valley and beyond.”
