 Pada suatu pagi di salah satu rumah sakit di daerah Tangerang, terdapat salah satu anak
berusia 12 tahun yang sedang di rawat karna terdiagnosa dema typoid atau tifus. Ketika salah
satu perawat ingin melakukan ttv agar mengetahui suhu tubuh, pernafasan dan nadinya dalam
rentan normal.
Perawat : “selamat pagi adek anne, masih inget sama suster ria kan? apa kabar? Masih ada
keluhan?”
Anak anne : “selamat pagi juga suster, iyah masih inget ko sus. Udah lebih baikan ko
sekarang, cuman masih pusing sedikit”
Ibu pasien : “iya nih sus semalem masih demam, trus kedinginan gitu”
Perawat : “baiklah saya periksa dulu ya tanda tanda vitalnya. Di mulai dari suhu tubuh
dulu ya?”
Anak anne : “sus kepala aku makin pusing nih!”
Perawat : “anne udah sarapan belum?”
Ibu pasien : “udah ko sus tadi lumayan banyak makannya”
Sambil terus melakukan tindakan ttv perawat ria terus mengajak pasien anne mengobrol
agar pasien merasa di perhatikan, dan keluarga pasien menjadi percaya kepada perawat. Jika
terjadi sesuatu nantinya keluarga lebih terbuka terhadap perawat.
Ketika perawat hamper selesai melakukan ttv ayah pasien datang.
Ayah pasien : “gimana sus keadaan anak saya? Apakah masih ada yang perlu di khawatirkan?
mengingat semalam panasnya masih tinggi”
Perawat : “jadi gini pak setelah saya periksa tanda tanda vitalnya, hasilnya ........................
anak bapak memang masih panas tinggi tapi sudah saya berikan obat ko pa, tapi
harus tetap kita pantau panasnya agar tidak terjadi kejang karena panasnya
terlalu tinggi”
Ibu pasien : “lalu apa yang harus saya lakukan sus?”
Perawat : “ibu hanya harus memantau panasnya anak ibu, jika panasnya terasa sudah
tinggi langsung panggil saya di ruang perawat yah bu”
Ibu pasien : “baik sus”
Ayah pasien : “baiklah sus jika seperti itu”
Perawat : “saya tinggal yah bu, pak. Jika ada apa-apa panggil saya di ruang perawat ya.
 Saya permisi”
Setelah perawat selesai melakukan pemeriksaan ttv perawat pun kembali keruangannya.
