Requirement 1:

Introduction

 Research title

 Background of research = overall global picture, problem worldwide then explain what happens in
malaysia

 Research gap and problem statement = there is a problem, how its causing problem in the world.
Unemployment rate in Malaysia. Gap can come from no one or very limited studies have done: to the
authors knowledge here are very limited research; limited studies in malayisa or Asia; everybody have
done many techniques but some of them didn’t use spss to explain things; results of the studies are
contradictory (+,-, insignificant) causing ambiguity and there is no concenses have done to this study
thus we’re doing it to add to the body of knowledge

 Research objectives = examine or investigate or study the determinants of career choice among uni
students; to investigate the magnitude (how big) and direction(is it positive or negative) of the factor of
each or determinants on career choice of uni students

 Research questions = is a mirrored image of research objective. What are the determintants; how
impactful are the determinants;

 Significance and justification of research = significant and problem are related, the reason why and
how to solve problems; there is a need to look at

 Expected theoretical and managerial implications = the result of this study must be done to the good
of people. We expect whether this study will work in Malaysia or the country.

 Indicate research limitation and suggest further research = small samples so its not accurate, only the
Malaysian are taken as samples

Literature review = go to abstract. A study by author (year) used ---- to study the ---- for the period--- the
study revealed that ---. The study done by___ showed there’s a -__ relationship with ____ but the other
study done by ___ saying other things. 2007 and above do it by google scholars. What is the study about
then see the results.

Requirement 3:

Research Methodology. The result have been validated blablaba

 Research philosophy

 Methodology used = we are doing quantitative study using survey

 Research approach = positivism thus deductive then we are testing the study. Look at the theory in the
literature review
 Research strategy = we’re testing the theory then using the survey to explain our research questions
by using our theories and check whether our hypothesis is correct or not

 Definition and operational definition of each variable = take it from academic journal for IV and DV.
Operational definition = our definition is define by 3 items___, the proxy you used to explain the
definition.

 Associated research hypotheses or research theme. When doing literature you can put the hypothesis
at the bottom of each IV. This part only come out the hypotheses in one table and says that these are
the hypotheses that we are doing. Only mention the H1, H2, no need for null hypotheses.

 Research framework/model (theoretical research framework). Conceptual framework is the IV and DV,
the theories. Our studies about career choice as shown in figure1, we took it from this author but we
modified the studies and added few things. Cites all the authors. The model taken from who and
mention the theories will be uses

 Research data collection. We used a questionnaire through google survey and testing the theories and
hypothesis

 Sampling Type (probability sampling/ non-probability sampling). Non-probability sampling. Look at

the lecture notes chap4. Convenient is specific group of people like university students. Simple random
then just giving it to random people in the population then explain a little bit from the lecture notes.

 Sampling techniques (specific techniques). Specifically under non-probability what techniques and
explain

 Minimum sample size requirement = For FYP 200-300 respondents. We will be collecting 200-300
respondents to avoid bias and make it more accurate. Sampling tecniques and size can be put in one
chapter

 Appropriateness of proposed practical details (procedure of sampling methods and target population).
What is the benefits of using this sampling techniques

 Data sources with explanation. We will be taking the data from. As we have explain in the data
collection section, our data was taken from___.

 Uses of variables in the research. No subtopic here. It is used to measure what? Trust is used to
measure___. Refers to the variables.

 Research periods/ coverage area/ number of companies/ number of banks, number of countries and
any other related cross sectional. Our data will be collected through survey in the month August 2017

 Proposed data analysis techniques, tools. Self administration ___ page 66/78. Put only 1 sentence. See
page 85. The table. Put it in 1 sample. We will be doing a _____
