1. Government :

 Taxation policy affects business’s costs of production .


 Quality constraints by the government can also affect the company .
 Lays being international company also has the foreign taxes set by the government .
 Also the product sale prices are set by the government .
 TV commercial are also need government’s approval .

2. Financial Community :

 Financial community consists of banks , insurance companies and other providers of


cash .
 Financial community also affect lays like all other companies it needs finance so it is
a big factor .

3. Suppliers :

 Lays needs suppliers for its raw material like potatoes ,flavors and other ingredients .
 So suppliers have to provide good quality .
 Also reasonable prices .
 And steady supply .

4. Labor Union :

 Labor unions are very important in every company especially production companies .
 So labor unions demands can greatly affect the lays company .
 And labor unions work strikes also .

5. Stockholders :

 Stockholders are the people related to the company like the owner , employees and
customers .
 Owner decisions affect the whole lays company .
 Employees dedication and passion towards company also a factor .
 And customers opinion of the lays products also a factor .

6. Competitors :

 Lays has many competitors like pringles and doritos .


 These competitors also push the lays company to keep up .
 Making new flavors .
 Making new advertisements and getting sponsorships .
 Continuous updates and improvements .

7. Customers :

 Customers are the most important factor in a company’s success .


 They are basically the game changers for any product .
 Lays has pretty good customers in Pakistan .
 At the end of the day it is up to the customer whether they want to buy the product
or not .
 Popularity of the product in customers also comes into play .

8. Global Community :

 Global community includes almost every one in the world .


 By the global community we mean the opinion of the product and company in
general public .
 Lays has a good opinion in global community .
 It can also be the popularity of the product .
 For example lays salty is more popular than any other flavor because of global
community .
