Introduction
This dialogic engagement is a discussion of the art documentary video from China, students will
learn the novel materials and form of art, the experience of creating process in this video. On
the other hand, students will learn the skills of thinking a work/ thing, expressing opinions and
responding other people’s voices. The students will watch a video with five minutes long in the
classroom in advance. This class is prepared for the students of grade 11 and grade 12 in Taiwan,
the maximum students of class are 20, the ​class time is 45 minutes​.

Introduction of video: Post-90s Hunan girl Tangtang, who worked in the Internet business, was
forced to quit by serious overtime work. After resignation, she learned photography with her
own savings and started to specialize in food photography. Three naked chickens, pigs with
rings, lamb taking a sunbath ... These greasy meat are granted with a sense of humor and art. In
addition to creating her own artworks, she also does photography for many brands, which could
bring her over 100,000 yuan a month.

The prompt
Suggesting students watch this Video as an artist and an audience individually to answer the
following questions and writing thoughts down and questions. Bring those documents to the
class for the discussion. The student will learn the not only the art knowledge, but also a way of
thinking a work/ thing, receiving various opinions, and the ability of quick thinking and
expressing in public throughout the process of class discussion/ responding questions/voices in
the class.
