1. How well is the class doing as a group?

a. After assessing the class scores from the 15 question math test that included
addition, subtraction, and division, the class as a whole needs some work.
Addition averaged 75%, subtraction averaged 68%, and division averaged 59%. I
would take another look at the questions that most students struggled with and
check to see if there were any mistakes I made.
2. Which individuals are doing well and in what topics?
a. A few students are doing very well. Juan earned a 100%. Cody earned a 93%.
Jamal, Jack, and Hugh earned an 80%. Hugh is excelling in addition but is
struggling with division. Cody is doing well in subtraction and division. But
struggles a little with addition. Juan is doing well in all three subjects.
3. Who may need extra support and on what topics?
a. Nathan, Molly, and Sarah need some help with math. Nathan struggles with all
three subjects scoring only 20% in subtraction. Molly is in a similar spot as
Nathan. Sarah is struggling with division but does well in addition and
subtraction. I would give these students similar questions that were on the test
and have them answer to see where they could be making mistakes for
improvement. I then would do the same with the whole class to see where
everyone as a whole is struggling or where they are making common mistakes.
