What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The purpose for writing this assignment is to spread the word about water pollution and all the problems it
can bring if it is not put in control. Once our water is gone we will quickly die off so this is a great problem.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I scored a 90% so I didn’t have too many mistakes but there is still room for improvement. I need review my
work on word and make sure everything is spelled right and make sure it makes sense.

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
I feel that I worked very hard looking for good quotes to support both sides of the argument. The quotes
explain things and I showed how big the problem really is.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I am choosing to revise this because I should know what I should work on in my next big assignment like
this. Also so it looks better then next time I need this.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
I need to find better words and not sound repetitive when giving supporting details. I need to use a thesaurus
to find better words to be less repetitive.

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I think that I achieved my goal because many people don’t see water pollution because air pollution is a
bigger problem. This topic was not used by many people so it is unique in a way too.
