Emcee 1 :Welcome to the 2018 Teachers’ Day Celebration of Barra Elementary School .This is
a yearly celebration all over the world.
Teachers’ day is celebrated to express our gratitude and appreciate the hard work of our
Teachers. I am__________________. I am ___________________ and I am
________________ from the Supreme Pupil Government of ---------- Elementary School. In
our own little ways, we planned out this activity to give honour to our dear teachers.
Emcee 2: I.To formally start the program, let us all stand for the singing of the National
Anthem to be conducted by one Grade Six Pupil, ______________________
Emcee1 :Please remain standing for an invocation to be led by a Grade 6 pupil, ________

__________It’s already 10:05, at this time the whole nation is paying tribute to all the teachers.
All over the world , the teachers’ prayer is simultaneously recited by all the teachers. Together May I
request the teachers of __________ ES , with our school head Maam _________ to stand for the reading
the teacher ‘s prayer .
Thank you very much teachers. You may now be seated.

We are very lucky indeed that with us today to grace and to witness our occasion are the
internal and external stakeholders, our barangay kagawad, Hon. _________________, Hon.
_________ , GPTA Officers headed by Mrs. ______________ and the cooperative parents.

Emcee 1 :To give us words of inspiration , may we call on our dynamic school principal, _____________.

For us pupils one of the things we could afford to do in thanking our teachers is through our
presentations. Right ___________(Yes of course)

Without much due.. let’s begin the program by giving flowers , tokens and presentations.
Let’s start it with a big bang from cutie kids of kindergarten . Let’s give them a big big hand.

May I request Teacher ____________ and ________________ ,Teacher Pamela ___________ from
Kindergarten level to occupy the center stage. (reading of messages, offering of cards and flowers..etc.)

Now is the time for the Grade I Teachers to be given recognition for their noble work. May we to please
come up on stage.

What we learn from our teachers remains with us, throughout our life. However, very often, we
fail to show our appreciation and gratitude for their altruistic devotion.(Dili ta usahay ga paminaw
sa ila kay magboot ratag ato..which is not good for our future.) Teachers do need encouragement
and support from the community to feel that their efforts are being recognized.

Emcee: At this point ,the Committee Chair Of Education representing the Barangay Council, Hon.

And now is the time for the Grade 6 pupils to show off their talent in dancing. A big, big hand for

Why I went to the foot?
Why I went to the foot?
Was ever a maiden so worried?
I'll admit I am partial to Jim,
For Jimmie has promised to wed me
When I'm old enough to wed him.

But then I love teacher, too, dearly,

She's always so lovely to me,
And she's pretty and kind and sweet-tempered,
And gentle as gentle can be.

I wouldn't for worlds hurt Jim's feelings,

For he never would like me again-
But there was my dearest, sweet teacher,
And I'd die if my words gave her pain.

"Two plus two equals what?" was the problem.

And I knew teacher thought it made "four";
But Jimmie said "six," and maintained it
As long as he stood on the floor.

And I saw I must soon choose between them,

For I was the next in the line.
Should I side with my teacher or Jimmie?
What a sad situation was mine!

And just as my heart with that problem

Of friendship was so sorely vexed
I was called on to answer the other,
For teacher had said, sharply, "Next!"

It was then that the brilliant thought struck me,

That by compromise I could contrive
To hurt neither teacher nor Jimmie,
 And that's how I came to say "five."

Teachers’ Day is intended to be a special day for the appreciation of teachers. Teachers mold the
lives that they influence. Lessons learned from them remain with their students throughout life. Teachers
need encouragement and support from the community to feel that their devotion to students is
appreciated.
From then onwards, we have been shaped with enlightenment of how teaching really worth to be the
greatest profession. Teachers teach because they care. Teaching young people is what they do the best. -
It requires long hours, patience, and care. And to teach is to touch lives forever.
Teaching is a difficult path to take ,yet it is a self-rewarding profession . I salute these people in front of
me for they are our modern heroes.
My teacher, my hero”. We are happy that you're our teachers; we enjoy each lesson you teach. Every
day, you are planting a seed of curiosity and motivation for us to know and to grow and succeed. You help
us fulfill our potentials; we are thankful for all that you've done. You deserve our gratitude. Every one of
us in this planet creates a page in human history irrespective of who he/she is. I realize my experiences
as a pupil as a small dot in human life, but that dot has a life and light.
My best wishes to all of you on this occasion of Teachers' Day. Thank you and wonderful morning!
