M3: show an understanding of feedback and be able to respond to

questions.
For this I will be evaluating what went well and what had not gone
well in my script, and what an ideal successful response to question
would be like.
What were the strengths in my pitch?
- Whilst going back through my pitch I’ve evaluated what had
gone well, for example I was able to cover all the key points
that was required to talk about, which I gave good response
to for background information to make my show more
understandable.
- I had communicated well between who I was presenting to
as I didn’t just stare at my notes, I made frequent eye
contact.
- I managed to keep my pitch within the 5 minute limit
What were my weaknesses in my pitch?
- one weakness which I recognised were the answers which I
responded with which I thought were a little vague, which I
realised after that I could’ve given a more broad answer and
extended it.
- I could’ve been more persuasive whilst trying to pitch my
idea and seem more confident with the flow of my speaking
and been a little more louder.
How successful do I think was my pitch was?
Overall I believe that my pitch was successful as I met all the criteria
that was needed to include into the pitch, and managed to answer all
the questions given to me spontaneously.
Did I meet the client requirements?
Personally I agree that I had met the client requirements as I stayed
within the time limit of 5 minutes, the storyline/ plot was based on a
medical drama which included all the characters from the client
brief.
If not what could I have done differently?
If I was given the opportunity to re-do my pitch I would be more
confident with my speaking as well as my presenting skills. I would
sound louder and more convincing to who I am presenting to.
How well did I respond to the question you were asked in the pitch?
I think I had done well in response to the questions which were given
to me as I was able to make clear justifications, but ways in which to
improve I can be more confident when saying what comes to
thought first.
Identify the questions that you were asked in your pitch and write a
response for each one, this should be well thought out I.e. your
perfect answer had you been able to prepare for the questions prior
to the pitch.
How have you stuck with the medical drama aspect of the drama?
I have stuck within the requirement of a medical drama by clearly
indicating all the medical aspects for example the setting, which is
located in Mulberry UTC the hospital ward, this already shows that it
is medical next it would be shown through the way the characters
act and dress, therefore by this I mean that the characters will act
professional towards eachother, nurses will wear a blue scrub
costume. Doctors and senior members of staff will wear a white lab
coat as well as a stethoscope, which highlights their positions. The
characters will speak using medical terminology and they’d use
medical equipment’s.
What key shots will you film in to its set in east London:
The key shot that I will include is a wide shot for the opening scene
which will be the Mulberry UTC and I’d ensure that the logo of the
building is clearly visible, as for any other main building locations
such as the Royal London Hospital. I will even get shots of the
surrounds areas of the location so that the audience will be
familiarised with the area of the located set.
How will you ensure people from other cities would know where it
is based?
I will include street names and postal codes so that they area able to
figure out where the place is, I will include the lifestyle of ordinary
people of their everyday lifestyle.
