This letter comes as a recommendation for Alessandra Conti Napoleon. I have had the pleasure of working with
Alessandra in two Music Education courses; Inclusive Vocal Development and the capstone Music Education class,
Teaching Choral Music to Inclusive Populations.

First I have to tell you, what a joy it is to work with a student such as Alessandra. She is aglow with her love for
music and music education. She is a terrific student as you can see from her resume and of course has a very strong
work ethic. She works well with others and makes every effort to dig deeper for better understanding and preparation.
In the music education courses I was able to observe her musicianship as a pre-teacher. She eagerly takes initiative
and welcomes constructive criticism. While choral music is not her major, she worked hard to learn the techniques of
becoming a choral director. She showed a tremendous amount of growth throughout the semester, and sparked energy
for the entire class. She simply embraced every challenge and overcame any obstacles. It was a thrill to watch her
grow into a competent choral director.

Alessandra is a diligent worker who is exceptional in her dedication and drive to be the best. I frequently enjoyed
discussing many critical thinking aspects of music education with her, and found her hungry for deepening her
learning. I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed in her! Please contact me if desired.
