Activity Kahoot will be used in a group setting for the
classroom, each student will be able to answer
questions on either their cell phone or tablet
while game is being projected on the board to
bring everyone together to understand the
relationship of nutrition, physical activity, and
emotional and physical health. This app
encourages students to participate together and
learn with each other, the teacher will create a
game using the app focusing on the different
health topics to reinforce what the students have
been learning. This activity will also help the
teacher keep track of what type of questions the
students got wrong and what the teacher needs to
focus on more. This type of app is also great for
Pedagogy
students before a test to understand what they
need to focus on for their own studying
purposes.

This app can be found on androids or apple for
free and games can be created for free as well.

This type of app helps reinforce content areas
and helps bring the classroom together.
Students will get in groups of three and each
group will be given a specific topic to focus on
regarding outside influences on personal health.
Using the Padlet app on either their cell phone or
device they will create a page of information
containing facts, videos, charts, and any other
pertinent information about the topic that was
assigned to them. This app allows for
collaboration on a group project that will start in
class and can be finished up at home. Once the
students have created a page with all the
requirements, they will post on the app for the
rest of the class to see. This app is great to use
once you have navigated through the app, before
the students begin the project the teacher will go
through the app with the class to show how the
students can use the different tools offered
through the app.
Padlet
This app can be downloaded on any market
place like apple or google store. The app is free
for the students to sign up for, the teacher can
create a classroom online for the students for $12
a year. This app would always be free for the
students and the teacher’s cost is small.
