Evaluation on Papa Dong’s Cine, Grill and Resto

What about Papa Dong’s? (A brief background)

This unique and satisfying restaurant owned by Ferdinand Fajardo started on

November 30, 2013, The secret for his resto’s success, is his dishes’ affordability
and good taste. He ticked off his best-sellers: Angus Beef Pigar-Pigar, crispy hito
and sisig, sinigang pink salmon head and salmon belly, binagoogang crispy hito,
buttered chicken and kare-kare gulay. Pigar-pigar is from Dagupan City that people
there calling it a comfort food of Pangasinan. This is one of their best-sellers in the
reason that guests are always returning because of it. Many of their products are
seafood knowing that Lingayen is nearby the sea.

Its name before is not yet papa dong’s but they think of more catchy name.
Papa dong’s came from the owner’s father’s name that is more easily remembered
especially from the people of Lingayen. It is not just a place for a night life, it
happens also o be an all-day dining place offering a variety of foods including the
best of Pangasinan. Papa Dong’s Resto and Grill offers Filipino cuisine but then
because of the ever-evolving competition with the Filipino restaurants to the other
places they offered Asian-fusion type of menu suck as; attached of Thai and
attached of Chinese foods. So their menu is ever-evolving. Their main goal is not
just to make the guests satisfy with the food but also to entertain them. So they
have their own cinema inside the resto that while they are waiting for their food
they can watch concerts and movies that avoids them to feel bored.

Many artists who visited Lingayen tried also to dine in to this resto like Bea
Binene, Andi Eigenman and Inigo Pascual. They also featured on Mag-tv na atin to
and Philippine Star because of its uniqueness among other restaurants.

Service Product

After about thirty minutes they already served the food I ordered. I tried
some of their best-sellers such as savory buttered chicken. It’s smell so good.
Every guest who can smell this resto’s product made them more hunger because of
the butter’s smell that made the dish more tasty and delicious. Its taste is so
perfect that can satisfy an empty stomach and a craving mouth. I also tried their
halo-halo that is very savor also. They served a big amount so it really satisfies my
stomach at a very affordable price.
Service Setting

Its ambience is so perfect and irreproachable especially at night because of

colorful its lights. The resto’s setting is more perfect for the couples because it is
very romantic. There was a singer to serenade (grateful that the singer's
performance was tasteful and not tacky). I also like their open area and indoor
layout because it gives a relaxed vibe. The ambience is good for day times but it is
more aesthetic during night because of the effects of the lightings. The guests can
find comfort to this place because of its tranquility. It is not a kind of restaurant
that is very expensive, some criticisms may occur to some guests and others may
say that is a cheap place because other part of the resto is made with nipa hat just
like bahay kubo; an old style . But they might use it in order to preserve a Filipino’s
culture and to show pride as a citizen of the Philippines.

Service Delivery

I have nothing to say anymore on the way they deliver their service. Staffs
were accommodating including the owner who was very humble. The food was
bountiful for the price; I and my company all left with a contented tummy. They are
also friendly and they serve the food fast. The meal was good and worth it. The
time we asked for an ice, they bought it to us instantly. They also asked our names
while we take our orders and call us with it. The server is so patient on waiting us
while she’s asking for our orders; she waited us for almost an hour on choosing
what we want and yet she never complained at just smiling on us. The place had
friendly security and staff. And they don't let the price fool their guests - the quality
of the food was worth way more than what they're charging. The staffs were quick
to replenish when any of the dishes ran out. They were also very attentive, making
sure our glasses were filled with whatever drinks we had.
The Price

That resto is already a perfect package deal; the product, the setting, the
way they deliver their service and now the price. Undoubtingly, they were able to
deliver and give the best service and product to their guests at a very affordable
price. The entire dish I bought only cost 170 pesos each and their special halo-halo
cost 70 pesos but they served it at a big amount because one of their main goals is
to satisfy the cravings of every guest at a low price. The one dish is already good
for 2-3 person compare to other resto it is only good for one person. That’s the
reason why this restaurant still existing nowadays; because of its product’s
affordability and quality of service delivery.

The Guest Experience

I had a very quality time spending on fulfilling our stomach’s hunger to Papa
Dong’s Resto. I did not spend my entire budget for food because I found a very nice
restaurant that is very memorable experience of eating so I just bought my
remaining money left to the Lingayen food products. Eating at a very hospitable
restaurant plus an affordable menu plus a very delicious food made my experience
a very magnificent one. I really feel that they care about their guests by calling us
our name and smiling on us, they also showed patience and they don’t let their
guests on waiting too long. I just don’t experience the cinema because they are
only switching it on during nights but it’s okay because now that I already know my
destination, I still have countless chances to return back. It’s also a good
experience if we went their night but next time never lasts.
