Poetry in Motion
The topic of my documentary film is “Poetry Behind The Moves And Emotion”. The reason why I
chose this topic is because I really love how the two things connect. The moves show how the
person is really feeling on the inside and out. When I was thinking about this, I tought how the
emotion connects with others and how they really know the true feeling of what they’re going
through. I thought about my topic for a long time because I didn’t know that there was going to
be so much emotion behind the people that are in it. The moves in this film have to do with a lot
things with people who have been through so much that it’s not even funny.

Every dance move and every face has story behind it and when they see the actual real person
that’s inside and what they’re really feeling. When I was putting together I didn’t just think about
the dancing, I thought about how everyone feels and how they went through things in their past
that made them feel bad. That’s why I put the idea together. The characters I had in this were
mostly the people who actually felt emotions and didn’t feel like themselves anymore until they
showed it. Their dance moves combine with each moment they had in their past and in the
present and that’s what’s so amazing about the whole idea. Dance shows the real them and
how they actually feel.

When I was doing this project, I felt the real emotion. It wasn’t just emotion, it was something
coming from people’s hearts and minds and that’s what made me come up with this. There was
still a story behind the whole thing because of the way it started and how you see the realness
of people and how they act. It starts out with me in car and looking at the beautiful views. The
song in the film starts with people talking and it has story behind it. It starts out with black
background and dancing as a person who felt so lost. In the last part, I find the person ability to
be myself.

Every path in this film shows the truth. Different people who didn’t even know each other at first
show a connection of love and happiness. The reason why these feelings are showed are
because people can actually see what their feeling.When the people dance through their
emotions they see the real feeling and they see the real feeling they what’s up with the person.
The dance in this film was someone who never gets the chance to shown the real person they
are. The two people get brought down by people who don’t understand what they're going
through.
I was really showing the truth and how it speaks. This reminded me of something while I was
doing it. I got memories, flashbacks, and that’s what made this important to me. In the film the
song says in the beginning, “Let me see you shine the diamond you are” and what that meant to
me was that don’t hide what your feeling behind the shadows. It shows a girl who is lost at first
and then she finds another and they start having a close relationship together because they
realize how strong they are. The ending shows them hugging and how there relationship is so
important they can never give up on each other.
