Solid Waste Management is a term that is used to refer to the process of collecting and treating
sold waste. It also offers solution for recycling items that do not belong to garbage or trash Solid Waste
Management is all about how solid waste can be changed and used as a valuable resource.
OBJECTIVES:
PURPOSE:
1. To ensure solid waste is managed in such a way that protects both public health and the
environment.
2. The Solid Waste Management program works hard to help all people to better amange their solid
waste.
ADVANTAGE:
IMPORTANCE:
The most important reason for solid waste management is to protect the environment and for the health
and safety of the population. Certain types of wastes can be hazardous and can pollute the environment.

It has brought to your kind notice that our GSSIP University campus garden should get
cleaned twice in a month, for which the gardeners should be provided with the gloves and other
necessary equipments required for garden cleaning. This will clear all the trash from the lot and
prepare the ground for planting more trees and plants. One of the most difficult problems that
gardeners face is the plant disease, and the only treatment is the removal of the affected parts of
the plants. Plant diseases continue to live on leaves, twigs and other debris removed from the plant,
as well as debris that falls to the ground. Hard rains can splash the disease organisms back onto the
plant, and some diseases are carried on the wind, making prompt cleanup and disposal essential to
prevent the further spread of disease.
