Student Writing Goal: My student writing goal is to use less second and third person

Instructions:
1) Re-read the paper (and teacher feedback).
2) Complete this reflection sheet.
What was the purpose of this writing assignment?
The purpose of this writing assignment is to use society examples and real life situation to Macbeths theme. I
think Macbeth theme is about blind ambition so I'm using real life moments and examples to compare
macbeth blind ambition as he wants to become king.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I perform not as well as the other essays because i used a lot of second and third persons. The teacher
reminded me not to use second or third person since its not suppose to use “I, we, etc” third person is more
reasonable though,

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
I did well on my research of real life blind ambition examples because there must be many in society. For
example, a woman who is training for her 24 mile swim was her goal to finish it so she did what ever it takes
to finish even if her body pains as she swims. Her mindset was stuck onto the prize/her goal.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I chose to revise this writing assignment because I did incorrect errors. I also did this last minute because I
realized that it didn’t save my statements off my mac laptop so now I have to start all over. Yes it does suck to
do this all over again but it is for my education purposes.
What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
Next time I will make sure I answer questions related to the topic and make my sentences related to my ideas
from brain storming. In order to do this I need to specify the mistakes or errors I make then change them to
make them better.

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
Revising my previous assignment made me achieve my stated goal because it is going to make me understand
better to be more aware of what I am writing nor typing.
