Make sure before you do this you download a browser you like. So when I setup my computer and or
laptop (for windows) I like to get rid of the crappy things. I remove edge first off I hit the buttons known
as (all at the same time) ctrl + shift + esc then at the top where it says "file" and "run new task" I type in
where it says "open" I type in "regedit.exe" and make sure to open as "admin" then I open it, hit the OK
button and then I navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\Local
Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\microsoft.microsof
tedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdge and I simply delete this annoying little prick. Then I go to the
recycle bin and I double click and on the top I type in "C:\Users\(your comp name)\AppData\L
ocal\Packages" in the little search bar, and then I look for "Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe"
and I simply right click and rename "nope" and that is it, you can do this with other pesky
Micromangament (Microsoft) products. Before you delete if the file is in use open the task manager
again with ctrl + shift + esc then at the top where it says "file" and "run new task" type in where it says
"open" type in "resmon.exe" and look for the CPU tab and then in the 3rd bar look for Associated
Handles and with the magnifying glass look for the program you want, right click when you find the
associated handles and delete then remove, then go back in and finish this punk off!
Then I remove internet explorer, by opening the control panel, and click on programs, then look for turn
windows features on and or off and once there find the little check mark, remove that check mark, hello
check mark, goodbye check mark. You can restart now or later it is up to you.
Then I love to remove antivirus by windows! Which is known as windows defender! Open the regedit,
and look for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender then right-
click on Windows Defender and select New > Dword (32-bit) Value, and name it "no" and set value to
1, give it whirl and then you can go to control panel and select security and maintenance, then
select "virus and threat protection" turn to off, then select "turn off notifications concerning antivirus"
and use your own.
After you browse to get rid of internet history you can open up at the command prompt and make sure
you open as an admin type in ipconfig /flushdns to flush that brown down, and then type in ipconfig /
displaydns you should get a message that states "Could not display the DNS Resolver Cache", now
your significant other won't know who you've been meeting for those extended coffee breaks, but not
so fast! Go to regedit again and look for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Typed URLs and then just delete all of the keys that list the URL's you no longer want your
mom/dad/uncle/sister/brother/cat/dog to know.
Lastly! Make browsing safe again! Open the control panel, click on network and internet, click on
network and sharing center, click on change adapter settings, when you see your wifi right click, click
on properties, under "the connection uses the following items:" look for "Internet Protocol Version 4
(TCP/IPv4)" click on properties (lower right hand), look for "use the following DNS server addresses:"
type in
preferred DNS server 1.1.1.1
alternate DNS server 1.0.0.1
click ok
Then under "the connection uses the following items:" look for, Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6),
click on properties (lower right hand), look for "use the following IPv6 address:"
IPv6 address 2606:4700:4700::1111
Subnet prefix length 64
then look for use the following DNS server addresses:
Preferred DNS server 2606:4700:4700::1001

Why would you set the IPv6 address to 2606:4700:4700::1111?
