Objective: To teach my classmates about Project Based Learning and to inform them of the
resources of www.edutopia.org by the George Lucas Educational Foundation. This is a lecture
based lesson with a handout that is a check sheet for PBL.

Materials/Equipment: Handout checklist for Project Based Learning, first 15 seconds of the
intro to Star Wars (embedded in PowerPoint), Original trilogy 1997 special edition to establish
credibility, Vimeo video (linked in PowerPoint) of an example of PBL

Instruction:
