Software Tools for Designing

There are many tools for designing out there but these ones have been recommended by others in the group.
Some of these are free, paid, online, and downloadable or both. I have indicated what I have found under
each tool. The prices listed are what they were as of April 14, 2018 so they may change at any time.

**Always check the licensing for the graphics and fonts that the sites/tools may provide and their terms so
that you know it is okay to use the service/software to create designs that you are going to sell commercially.

Sumo Paint - SUMO Paint has web-based "paint" features similar in some respects to Pixlr. It has many of the
same tools and features as Photoshop but is geared more toward illustration, where other software such as
Photoshop are more suited for heavy image editing. It has layering capability, image adjustment tools such as
changing the color balance, options for blending images, shadows and bevels, filters such as sharpening and
blurring. Only works with certain file formats such as JPEG, PNG and GIF formats, and only allows users to save
images in the JPEG and PNG formats as well as an internal file format called Sumo files.
