Project Title

Section 1: Rationale (Approx 100 words)

From this course and the past 7 units I have improved a lot of skills. These skills consist of my editing
massively improving and my level of pre-production increasing and the quality also improving. I did
BTEC Media in school so some of the work I am doing now in college is not all completely new, but I feel
like all of my skills have heavily improved and will do so. For the final project I am hoping that all my old
and new skills combined show and prove myself wrong to do better than I actually can do this.

Section 2: Project Concept (approx 200 words)

The aims of my final project are to see if I am able to create a music video for the song Aj Tracey -
Ladbroke Grove. I feel like this will be a massive challenge for me personally as there is a lot to do for it.
With getting the video to match the genre of the song and most importantly to impress Aj Tracey fans
around the world, so this music video needs to be top notch. The music video will be based on the word
“Chance” and it’s about a group of mates overcoming everyday challenges. These challenges are just
day to day problems for mischievous teenagers. For example, the group do a quick robbery of a random
person’s wallet and phone and unfortunately, they get caught and chased down. Multiple events and
situations like this happen throughout the music video for Aj Tracey - Ladbroke Grove. With the song
having an old school garage vibe there will be little throwbacks and references to old garage videos,
where the group of mates are just chilling out and having some good vibes... like teenagers do.
Eventually the group of friends resolve the situations they come across and have a good time
Section 3: Evaluation Methods (approx 50 words)

I will reflect on my final project by watching it and then comparing it to what I wanted to achieve.
From this I will see if I achieved my objectives that is set out before capturing footage for my final
project. This will be the shots I collect and the quality of my editing.

Proposed Research Sources and Bibliography (Harvard Format)

This section provides an opportunity to record the initial research sources (both primary
and secondary), that you intend to use. Your sources of research should be as wide as
possible,including, but not limited to: libraries, museums and galleries, books, theatre/film/
video, magazines, TV/radio programmes, websites and online research.
Where appropriate you should use the Harvard system of referencing.
The bibliography should be continuously updated as the project progresses.
