Daily Promises of God

for educators Hebrews 8:10-12

NIV - This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the
Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and
they will be my people. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another,
‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.

RSV - This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the
Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people. And they shall not teach every one his fellow or every one his

brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.”

Note to the educator

Our gracious, merciful Savior will write His laws on the hearts of everyone in the kingdom.
We won’t struggle with sin as we do now and we will know in our hearts the right thing to do

always. What a beautiful hope we have as we interact with so many that do not know Him YET.
In those days, we won’t even have to tell them about Him or walk like Him because ALL will
know Him and all will desire to be like Him. In the meantime, let us strive to be like Him each
and every day at school and when we falter, be encouraged by this high and future hope.
