Q17 Please provide comments in regards to the student teacher's strengths and areas for improvement.
Throughout the observation, it was evident that Ms. Chapman was well-prepared and confident in her instruction. She asked thought-
provoking questions, gave adequate wait time, encouraged student participation, and praised students for their participation. She
maintained a well-managed classroom and transitioned to each activity seamlessly. Her lesson plan was thorough and all parts of it
aligned to the identified learning targets.
She should continue to look for ways to make sure learning is visible as well as ways to ensure all students are actively and equally
participating in group activities.
I was very impressed with her natural teaching ability and the level of professionalism she exhibited. She is going to be an asset to the
teaching profession!
