REDUCING THE USE OF PLASTIC

In Kapota island’s beach, Wakatobi, at november 9th,2018, the fisherman found the dead
whale at the beach. The team of national saving whale was shocked, because they found
6 kg of plastic trashes in the stomach of that whale. But that was not the first time in
world. In German had been found the dead whale with 15 meters of the dragnet in the
stomach of that whale, not just that but also happened in Spain. They found 30 kg plastic
in the stomach of that whale. These make us concern about the condition of the trash in
the world, especially about plastic trash. Don’t you think, we should do something to
make it will not happen again in future ?. We can reduce the use of plastic from
government, producer, and consumer.

Especially in Indonesia, the campaign of the conscious about the trash is less. The
government should active to make the event about the trash. That’s the way to make
society aware to save the environment from trash. Not just increase the campaign about
the trash but also make regulation about trash. Such as give punishment to society who
through trash anywhere. And also make regulation for producer of the plastic to limit
their production. That proof the government should take much part to reduce the use of
plastic with increase campaign about trash and make the regulation about trash.

And another important part to reduce the use of plastic is the producer. Because all of the
plastic are from them. If they reduce the production the plastic, so plastic revolve in
society. They can produce the plastic that very important and in limit quantity. They
should do that to obey the regulation from government. You certain think that can make
that producer loss. But that regulation can increase their profit. If theiy reduce the
produce of the plastic, it can make plastic limit in society and they also produce the
plastic that very important and in limit quantity. And it make the plastic is needed and
they can increase the price of the plastic. So, it make much profit for them.

And the last important actor for this case is consumer. They are the causes from all of the
problem about the plastic. Because consumer trough the plastic after use it and make
plastic there anywhere. So, they should do something to responsible for what they do.
They can do 3 R; reduce,reuse,recycle. Firstly, they should reduce the use of the plastic.
Second, use again the plastic that they use before and they should not buy it again. The
last is recycle. We change the plastic that have been use to another thing, like;bag, shoes,
and much other. It can make income for you.

So, in summary, we only can reduce the plastic trash from three parts: government,
producer, and consume. They should be the trio to make this isu happen. We should
reduce the use of the plastic to save world life, not only for human but also for animal and
other thing. To save our earth and our life and make the healthy and peace life in our
environment.
