The Treaty of Versailles ended world war I. Prime Minister George clemenceau of
france, David Lloyd George of great Britain, and Woodrow Wilson of the united states
negotiated the treaty which was punishing to Germany.

France, Georges Benjamin Clemenceau was a French politician, physician, and journalist
who was Prime Minister of France during the First World War. A leader of the Radical Party, he
played a central role in the politics of the French Third Republic. Between 1917, Clemenceau
was an outspoken critic of military incompetence that seemed to characterise the French
military effort in World War one. The Versailles Peace Treaty was greeted with some
disapproval in France. The influence of Lloyd Georges Clemenceau had wanted a lot more. By
january 1920, his political star had eclipsed and the French public held him responsible for the
perceived of the Versailles Settlement.

Britain, David Lloyd George, 1st Earl Lloyd-George of Dwyfor, OM, PC, was a British
statesman of the Liberal Party. Lloyd George’s near-dictatorial popstar ministry failed to exploit
his wartime mystique. He retained office in December 1981 with large Unionist majority but only
133 of his own Liberals. Although he negotiated and Irish settlement and influence international
disarmament treaties, external affairs caused his fall late in 1922 when his pro-Greek blister in
Chanak crisis threatens war with Turkey and undid his coalition.

United States, Thomas Woodrow Wilson was an American statesman and academic
who served as the 28th President of the United States from 1913 to 1921. A member of the
Democratic Party, Wilson served as the President of Princeton University from 1902 to 1910,
and as Governor of New Jersey from 1911 to 1913, before winning the 1912 presidential
election. As president, he oversaw the passage of progressive legislative policies unparalleled
until the New Deal in 1933.[1] He also led the United States during World War I, establishing an
activist foreign policy known as "Wilsonianism."

My conclusion is The Treaty of Versailles was the most important of the peace treaties
that brought World War I to an end. The Treaty ended the state of war between Germany and the
Allied Powers. Another conclusion G eorge Clemenceau was first Prime Minister from 1906
to 1909, and then again from 1917 to 1920. In favour of a total victory over the German
Empire, he militated for the restitution of Alsace-Lorraine to France. David Lloyd George,
1st Earl Lloyd-George of Dwyfor, OM, PC, was a British statesman of the Liberal Party. My last
conclusion is Thomas Woodrow Wilson was an American statesman and academic who served
as the 28th President of the United States from 1913 to 1921.
