Sub: Bankers’ Indemnity Policy

It is hereby brought to the notice of all concerned that with effect from 31.03.2017 the Bankers’ Indemnity
policy has been obtained from Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. The policy will remain valid till
30.03.2018.

As per the policy condition, the Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd agrees to indemnify the Bank to the extent
mentioned herein after.

1. Title of the Policy : Bankers’ Indemnity Policy

2. No. of the Policy : 31500/48/2017/2606

3. Currency of the Policy : 31.03.2017 to 30.03.2018

4. Cover Limit

i) Basic Cover : Rs.40 lakh (Rupees Forty lakh) only

(Including gold & valuables)
ii) Additional Cover in premises : Rs.135 lakh (Rupees One crore thirty five lakh) only
(Including gold & valuables)
iii) Additional Cover in transit : Rs.135 lakh (Rupees One crore thirty five lakh) only
(Including gold & valuables)

5. Risks covered:

i) In Premises: Cash in premises includes cash in safe, cash on counter, value of pledged gold
ornaments and valuables.

Limits covered: Rs.175 lac (Rupees One crore seventy five lakh only)

Care should be taken so that total of cash in safe, cash on counter and value of pledged gold ornaments
including valuables on any single day for an individual branch must be retained within 175 lac (Rupees
One crore seventy five lakh only).

ii) In Transit: Carrying of cash from :-

a) One branch to another branch.

b) One branch to United Bank of India /State Bank of India /Other Bank branch where the branch
maintains Bank Account and vice-versa.

c) Collection in recovery camps.

Limits covered: Rs.175 lakh (Rupees One crore seventy five lakh) only.

Care should be taken so that inward/outward remittance must not exceed Rs.175 lakh (Rupees One
crore seventy five lakh) only in a single occasion for an individual branch. Remittance should be
undertaken by Bank officers/employees only.

In the event of any theft or robbery intimation shall be given to Head Office over telephone immediately.
FIR should be lodged with the local police station forthwith by the Branch Manager of the branch besides
observing other laid down procedures.

All concerned are advised to take note of this circular and act accordingly.
